Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial reports, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and variance analysis.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the budget preparation, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
