Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization
- Prepare and review complex financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors for seamless financial reviews
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on technical accounting matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience leading month-end closes and reconciliations
