Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Develop financial models for budget forecasting and trend analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation for tax filings and audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax regulations (CA-specific)
- Proven track record of improving financial processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
