Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for 50+ client portfolios
- Develop and implement complex financial models for strategic forecasting
- Conduct SOX compliance audits and internal control assessments
- Manage cross-functional tax reporting across 20+ states
- Optimize financial workflows using Oracle NetSuite and Power BI
- Mentor junior accountants through structured development programs
- Present financial insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification (required)
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/corporate settings
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems
- Proven track record of process improvement initiatives
- Experience managing remote accounting teams
