Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to prepare accurate management reports and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Lead internal audits and support external audit engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience with month-end/quarter-end closing processes
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments with minimal supervision
