Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage complex multi-state tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for diverse client portfolios
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting systems
- Coordinate external audits and ensure adherence to GAAP standards
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (Advanced functions)
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana state tax regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
