Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing with 99.8% accuracy
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations while implementing process improvements
- Lead cross-departmental projects to optimize financial workflows and reduce operational costs
- Maintain robust internal controls and audit readiness documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance teams
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in financial statement preparation and variance analysis
- Strong understanding of Ohio tax regulations and multi-state compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
