Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize general ledger operations with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance for all financial activities
- Utilize advanced Excel and ERP systems for complex financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables)
- Proven track record in financial reporting and process improvement
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring accounting staff
