Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial examinations
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for department heads
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis
- Proven ability to manage complex month-end close processes
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
