Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during compliance periods
- Implement and improve internal controls for financial operations
- Lead financial forecasting and budgeting initiatives for assigned clients
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and evolving tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public practice or corporate environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts
- Proven experience managing client relationships and deadlines
