Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Prepare and submit accurate tax filings in compliance with federal and Indiana state regulations
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Maintain and improve accounting systems with proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and Indiana compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting software (e.g., Sage 100)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
