Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15+ corporate clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Lead quarterly audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Develop automated reporting workflows using Excel and QuickBooks Online
- Mentor junior accountants on GAAP and industry best practices
- Collaborate with tax department on year-end planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting experience with Big 4/Mid-tier firms
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100+)
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, SOX 404, and financial reporting
- Proven audit management and client relationship skills
- Illinois CPA license (or eligible by start date)
