Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Manage tax compliance filings and support external audits
- Mentor junior accounting staff and maintain financial documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Proven track record in month-end close and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software implementation
