Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues in financial performance.
- Support the annual budgeting process and assist with cost control measures.
- Ensure tax compliance by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with external auditors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
