Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Lead audit preparation and compliance with GAAP/FASB regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and process documentation improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven track record of managing complex financial operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
