Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and ensure regulatory adherence
- Implement process improvements using advanced Excel and accounting software
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Support tax preparation and compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and month-end processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Active CPA license or willingness to pursue immediately
