Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements for executive review
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with strict adherence to GAAP
- Collaborate with audit teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and cash flow management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing accounting teams or mentoring staff
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
