- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with GAAP compliance
- Prepare complex financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Lead internal audits and external audit coordination procedures
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Supervise junior accounting staff and mentor professional development
- Collaborate with tax department on compliance strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel modeling
- Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
