Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/SEC regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasts for strategic decision support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and cost analysis
- Maintain internal controls documentation and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing financial audits and SOX compliance
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
