Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end closings and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for corporate entities
- Maintain financial databases and generate customized reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to non-financial teams
- Proven track record of process optimization and cost reduction initiatives
