Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and audits
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA certification or actively pursuing (5+ years experience)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax filings and payroll processing
