Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ clients including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with variance explanations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with tax specialists on compliance matters
- Train junior accountants on accounting software and best practices
- Present financial insights to client stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel with pivot tables/VBA
- Expertise in GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Proven experience with multi-state tax filings
- CPA license required
