Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with tax specialists for quarterly filings and tax planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in complex scenarios
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
- Proven ability to manage accounting teams and cross-functional projects
