Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end close, and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements, variance analyses, and executive dashboards
- Oversee A/R, A/P, and payroll processing with precision
- Implement and optimize internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic initiatives
- Lead audits and ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory filings
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
