Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and month-end close procedures
- Conduct comprehensive reconciliations for bank accounts and balance sheet items
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with tax department for quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Mentor junior accountants on financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA license required
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and Florida tax regulations
- Proven track record in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication for client relationship management
