Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/SEC regulations
- Develop financial models and budget forecasts for departmental planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of Ohio state tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with problem-solving capabilities
