Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with auditors during external audits and ensure timely resolution of findings
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives with accurate financial data
- Lead special projects related to financial system implementations or process optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Proven experience with month-end closing and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
