Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings processes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external audit engagements
- Develop and maintain robust financial reporting systems and controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Identify process improvements and implement automation solutions
- Mentor junior accounting staff and ensure team compliance with policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
