Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing and financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and Colorado state requirements
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado tax codes and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
