Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Lead tax preparation and planning for corporate clients
- Implement internal controls and process improvements
- Oversee audit coordination with external partners
- Mentor junior accounting staff
- Utilize advanced Excel and QuickBooks functionality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting experience
- Expertise in corporate taxation and compliance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Active California CPA license
