Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Lead internal audits and compliance initiatives for 15+ corporate clients
- Develop and implement advanced financial forecasting models
- Manage inter-company transactions and reconciliations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- CPA certification mandatory
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance
- Experience managing multi-state tax filings
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
