Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Conduct audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff through training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and tax regulations
- Proven track record in financial analysis and reporting
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Experience with audit preparation and compliance documentation
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) or actively pursuing
