- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements for DC-based operations
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement recommendations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for remote financial operations
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate financial models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations specific to DC businesses
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a remote work environment
