Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead audit preparation processes with external auditors and regulatory agencies
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Provide strategic financial insights to support client decision-making processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing workflows
- Maintain compliance with federal and state tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for client/stakeholder interactions
- Active Georgia CPA license or eligibility to obtain within 6 months
