Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP accounting principles and internal company policies.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for external audits and tax filings.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow management and budget forecasting.
- Review and approve journal entries and general ledger transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
