Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and provide variance analysis to management.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Streamline financial workflows and implement internal controls to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
