Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and compliance reviews
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental and company-wide goals
- Lead accounts payable/receivable optimization and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ in senior roles
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and regulatory filings
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and reporting
