Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes
- Lead audit coordination with external CPA firms
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and SOX compliance
- Conduct budget forecasting and financial modeling for 15+ clients
- Mentor junior accounting staff on GAAP standards and best practices
- Implement process improvements using NetSuite and Excel automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax regulations
- Experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
