What You'll Do:
Oversee the complete month-end and year-end close processes to ensure financial statements are accurate and timely.
Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports to support strategic decision-making by management.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all reconciliations are completed daily.
Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and compliance filings.
Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and forecast financial performance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Candidate status is highly preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
