Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Analyze financial data to produce accurate reports and support strategic decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Prepare tax documentation and liaise with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of progressive experience
- CPA certification or active pursuit required
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Proven experience with financial reporting and multi-state compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in public accounting or corporate finance preferred
