Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 50+ client portfolios including AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with SOX adherence
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement analyses
- Maintain proficiency in GAAP and evolving tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks Enterprise and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record with multi-state tax compliance and audit coordination
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex financial data
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting and presentations
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP) and financial modeling
