Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Develop financial reports for executive stakeholders and board members
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing financial audits and compliance requirements
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines
