Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with zero material exceptions
- Prepare complex financial statements for executive stakeholders
- Optimize tax compliance strategies across multi-state operations
- Drive process improvements in accounting automation
- Manage SOX compliance and internal controls
- Mentor junior accounting staff
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 5+ years in public/private accounting
- Expertise in GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks
- Proven track record of process optimization
