Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely reconciliation
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and support month-end/year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during financial examinations and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Provide financial insights through variance analysis and forecasting models
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage month-end closing processes independently
