Responsibilities
- Manage complex month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Lead external audit coordination and compliance documentation
- Analyze variance reports and provide strategic financial insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow optimization
- Develop and implement internal controls for SOX compliance
- Prepare multi-state tax filings and regulatory submissions
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years public or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel modeling
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing audit processes from start to finish
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional financial projects
