Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for diverse client portfolios
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Collaborate with audit teams to facilitate smooth external examinations
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Streamline accounts payable/receivable workflows for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA knowledge
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in complex financial data
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments
