Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist with the annual audit process and tax compliance filings.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
