Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax filings
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct audits and ensure regulatory compliance for multi-state operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of multi-state tax regulations (AZ/CA focus)
- Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
