Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow
- Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and executive dashboards
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements in financial systems and workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and month-end close cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
