Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors seamlessly
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and process improvements
- Forecast and monitor cash flow, budgets, and variance analysis
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical accounting guidance
- Utilize advanced Excel and ERP systems for data-driven decision support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing multi-state payroll and tax filings
- Proven ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
